Ian, thanks! Your comments seem plausible to me. I guess I was thinking there must be more to the story, especially considering all the buzz on wireless technology lately.

Something has to budge in the tel-com world. The phone, cable and satellite companies have basically sat around fat, dumb and happy. Basic services have not been enhanced but pricing has risen. The typical cable TV pricing model. The U.S. phone companies have long relied on Washington to preserve their profitability.

It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.....
