Al ,your post concerning using a limit order is so important. Many, many years ago , I put a markt order in before the opening on a Monday morning. I had heard a great recommendation of a stock over the prior weekend. The stock had closed on Friay at 5.00. When my 5000 share market order was filled @10:00am ,it filled at 8.00. By the end of the day ,the price fell back to 5.00. A paper loss of 15,000. That was a mistake I made only once, but it was costly. Incidently.the stock never recovered , and my paper loss became a real loss. I think your post will probably save someone some pain. Good job. Regards,DR.MEADE
