Thanks for the chart Alan

It is amazing to me how many different systems of belief
men can have.

I believe in ages as well - at least we agree that the word
"aion" does not mean "world" but it seems from there we are
worlds apart :-)

I believe there are 2 basic ages

the Old Covenant age which was "waxing old" when the New Testament was taking effect.
The New Covenant age in the blood of Christ and not animals
was taking over as the other was waxing old during the millenium 40 year period between the Old and New Covenants.

I do not believe that 'sin and physical' death have been abolished.

I do not expect them to ever be abolished on earth ever.

I think that is a false expectation imposed on verse speaking
about the true victory found in Christ - that being over the
death that Adam suffered the very day in which He ate that fruit.

I think your expectations are carnally minded and miss the point -
I am not trying to insult you here - I enjoy conversing with you.

I have never seen the "Concordant Literal New Testament"

I have Weymouth and enjoy some of the improvements but he
seems to be Arminian concerning soteriology.

I believe we are in the last and final age - the eternal age.

Under the Priesthood that will never change.

Brian
