James I do not think that one can use an argument such as this one; "Alan is preaching a confusing doctrine. I don't believe that God is an author of confusion. " We both know that God is not the author of confusion but simply because we confuse someone it does not mean we are not of God. Preterism confuses most people - they hold to so much man made doctrine that it takes time to chip away at all that nonsense. In the mean time they become confused - that does not prove that what we are teaching is not of God. I do not think what Alan is saying is what the bible teaches otherwise I would join him but it can not be dispelled simply because it is confusing. Although I would agree Alan is very confused :-) Brian
