"Regime change" might occur in the US... although not the way you'd expect --a second 911 could further israelize the US.

As I said, Israel is to the US what Algérie Française was to France. Hence it's as much an internal/domestic challenge as a foreign one... I sense that the Mideast crisis will ultimately backfire in the US. Of course, such a geopolitical feedback is the worst-case scenario for the US administration: Bush and his Judeocon brains struggle to "keep the shit abroad", to picture the terror crisis as "good Americans vs evil foreigners". However, if, as I once put it(*), Israel is merely an outlet for the US's internal violence/conflicts, then the denouement can only happen in the US, that is, at the root of the crisis. The Algerian problem was also settled in France, not in Algeria.
