I am thinking we have a problem with history books. Considering that in todays world with embedded reporters, TV, and instant news dispersion people cannot even reach agreement on what is happening.
What accurate consensus was reached in the old days when only controlled and biased news was available via static filled AM radio ?
Tell me again about the J. Lynch story. What part was fiction or the actual. Will there be a sequel, "The true story of Jessica Lynch" ?
Did M Albright(I think it was) actually tell Saddam we would not object if he invaded Kuwait?
How about O J Simpson ? Ruled not guilty?. What will history show?
And in that case no ground was uncovered, no questions unasked. Smash in the middle of town. No lawyers opinion turned down. Give me the true skinny on that case.

How can we predict the future of Iraq when we cant even figure out what is truth or fiction today or yesterday?
The WMD situation in Iraq is still being worked on. Some are saying ( Iraqis included) that all work stopped and they were destroyed in 1991. That cannot be correct, UN Inspection reports showed that stocks still existed as late as 1995.
