I was very surprised he did not go for it. This the same guy who said in the playoffs you have to go get the game. He proved it by calling plays on two fourth and one downs in the Seahawks game and one in the Eagle game. Why he did not do it one more time is beyond me.

Besides, it wasn't like a punt would take much time off the clock and if you only end up gaining 20 yards, well that is not a lot.

With the clock in our favor at that point, the most likely result would have been field goal for OT. He should have gone for it.

I think he got spooked by the earlier call that did not make it into the endzone is what happened.

Damn, gotta be consistent on these calls. You are not going to get every single one.

However, that being said, Sherman is still a young head coach without a ton of playoff experience. In other words, he is still learning. For all that are critical of him, I still like what I see and think he will only improve.

But damn.

Why didn't he call me? It only would have taken a second....
