Hawk, what you have posted, whether it is from Rush Limbaugh or any other are facts all right. But wouldn't you agree that the conservative commentators and columnists will present a conservative side and the liberals will do so likewise. It is for us the common folks, you me and others to sift through these and form our own opinions.

Some like me are cautious to form our opinions and even if we do form one we constantly monitor the situation to change them as the situation develops. From your post I conclude the following:

You are very anti France and anti Chirac for giving Iraq the nuclear reactors way back in the 80's

You are anti France because they did not support or rather led the anti US efforts in the UN.

You are anti me and have tossed me off the FPD thread because of my inane comments which I understand you categorizing as such because we fail to communicate.

From this read which I have outlined above, let me attempt to rationalize what I have been saying to all along. First of all I am purely talking about Osama brand terror and the US mission to fight Osama and the folks. We are not talking about Chirac, nuclear reactor and worse still something that took place 20 years ago when we have had three US Presidents (Republican as well as Democrats) since then. If we use past history in that fashion then we will be having many wars.

The issue is not Chirac (or maybe the French President then whoever he was maybe Mitterand) giving nuclear reactors 20 years ago which Israel destroyed. The issue is not a link between Al Qaeda and Saddam (Powell has already said that)
Is the issue mass graves? Heck, what the hell are we doing spending all the billions of dollars with Osama stillon the loose. Why have we abandoned a problem where our citizens could still be killed by Osama and his men and diverted our attention to someone else's problem? Why from day one, as Paul O'Neill says, did the Administration plan on the Iraqi war? And worse still, the Administration lied to the American people, a conclusion I reached after listening to what Paul O'Neill had to say.
