Thus, what we really have is a bunch of bleeding hearts like yourself crying over Saddam's downfall, and unwilling to accept the responsibility for having voting to permit it to occur

Says who I am crying or sympathizing with Saddam and his downfall. I am saying that Bush's foreign policy is a miserable failure.

I repeat, his foreign policy is a failure. He abandoned the national interest of protecting American lives from terrorism (not Saddam's lives that I am concerned about)and instead used the office of the Presidency for the personal interest of a group of his friends. And worse still he has exhibited dictatorial behavior by brandishing people "unpatriotic" if they opposed him. The President should not lie to American people especially when he is committing husbands, wives, sons, daughters etc. to go and die

I hope Hawk you will abandon your views and at least like chuck come out and admit that you believe that US should be a dictator, benevolent or not is a different story. At least if you say that, then we could all be sure of what is it you are trying to convey.

Paul O'Neill, the ex-Ceo of Alcoa (he is no moron) has done this nation a great favor. he is a true patriot and so is Colin Powell.
