re : TMXN - Transmeridian Exploration - $1.25
speculative oil play in Kazakhstan

Ok added TMXN at $1.25 - had to complete my DD and I had to anlyze more as the company has yet to show their production capacity in a SEC document (the next quarterly might be good for this). This is the next CASPIAN play in KAZAKHSTAN and they are ready to involve into another Nelson Resources (NLG.TO) which produces oil & gas in a field bordering to them.

70m shares out, marketcap under $100m, Huge reserves up to 500 Million Barrels of oil possible (PPP). Recently had a great new well PR that could result in material upside in the coming reserve quantification asessment - due out January.

Kudos to Kuxe0 on Yahoo's PKZ thread for bringing this company to my attention.

Well, in light of this situation I had to call the CFO and I'm positively surprised. Randy Keyes looks like a straight shooter to me, and appears to be a real gift to any company plannign to leave the OTC/BB

ittle update on KAZ oils, especially TMXN .. and it doesn't look bad for sure

A) On the significance of TMXN's discovery - it seems they didn't really tell the important infos - go to Yahoo's PKZ board and look for the posts that this "Phorensicguy" contributed on TMXN.. It looks like TMXN's South Alibek field is more reserve-laden than Nelson Resources (NLG's) Northern Alibekmola field. Wow ! And NLG.TO only has 1 year head-start - but NLG's marketcap is 10x that of TMXN.. Wow..

The new CFO is a gift for TMXN shareholders. I woouldn't do any shortterm thing here, even if you might feel tempted to test your new pencheant. Just talked to him. Truly impressed to be honest. Great that they took him up permanently (he was an interim apointee last year)

1) The funniest episode was the financing deal with Eurasia AG. That private venture fund might have overstreched it's commitments. As such, TMXN was able to walk away from this kind of deal to do a better deal later and even able to pocket a hefty brea-up fee from Eurasia.. hehe..

2) Reserve statement is out due in January. I bet on a material increase in proved & probable reserves. Stay tuned. CFO told me that estimate WILL include the data from the well-log from the SA-4 well that was issued today.

3) Randy is aware that TMXN is not yet in the Multex/Reuters database. He said that's already been taken care of, TMXN will pay the $2k annually and will be included in the "oil & gas industry". So the Yahoo threadsters will have the Profile too as a side-effect

3) TMXN already is in talks with the AMEX about a listing.. (see Transglobe, TGA - but TMXN is the better play IMHO given what's at hand in data before me)

4) Pipeline link to TMXN to be completed by Q3/2004. Until then shipping oil by train costs around $6 per barrel but the current high-price environment should compensate for this. In Q3 when the pipeline should be ready, the $6 saved will be available to additionally prop up TMXN's netbacks

all the best
