Good afternoon Stan,

I see by the number of posts over the weekend much has been discussed. I haven't had a chance to read them as of yet, hopefully time will permit me that liberty.

You stated;

<<< What you are asking us to accept is that post-70 A.D. believers receive a glorified, yet different, body upon death. So, how is that a resurrection according to 1 Cor 15 cited above >>>

Stan, please keep in mind that the resurrection has ALREADY taken place, at the end of the " age ", officially 70AD.

Have you had the opportunity to read a classic by J Stuart Russell called " The Parousia " ?, it would clarify much of what is discussed on this thread from a preterist view of scripture.

Should I vacate this body now, while I am writing this post to you, I would immediately go to be with my Lord and receive my glorified body.
My mortal body would be at least three days before it would be put in the ground, if I am to be buried.

Cremation would be similiar.

My spirit and soul do not linger around waiting to be re-united with my body of dust..........thats absurd.

I could care less what happens to this body of dust........................scripture teaches from dust it came and from dust it will return.

I trust I have answered your question.

Grace and peace to you.

Robert
