But wouldn't you agree that the conservative commentators and columnists will present a conservative side and the liberals will do so likewise.

Hey listen.. if I had found the actual link to Stratfor.com (they are a pay service), then I would have posted that..

It wasn't about Limbaugh.. and I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU I DON'T LISTEN TO HIM (and I don't)..

Everyday I read both the Washington Times and Washington Post, both accused by each other of representing a particular side of the political spectrum.

But the point is that you obviously didn't bother to take the time to seek other sources that might relate to the Chirac/Saddam connection..

And that's unfortunate Chinu.. Because unless one understands that long-standing relationship, it's difficult to truly understand why Chirac was so steadfast against overthrowing Saddam.

I mean.. the guy sold two nuclear reactors to a totalitarian government with the world's 2nd largest oil reserves!! Hello!! And they sold Saddam a crap-load of weapons and technology...

Yet.. I constantly hear how Saddam was "an American creation", or how Bush Sr. somehow gave a "heads up" to Saddam to invade Kuwait.. Or how Bush just wants Iraqi oil.. (one of your favorite diatribes)..

I mean, my god... it's almost as if you all are being hired by the Chirac government for the purpose of deliberately deflecting world attention to the degree of French complicity involved in supporting the Saddam regime...

You are very anti France and anti Chirac for giving Iraq the nuclear reactors way back in the 80's

Goddam right I am!!! 33% of the French population polled wanted Saddam to win against US forces!!!

And I'm certain anti-Chirac because he led a once semi-respectable nation into covering up his own long-standing connections to one of the most brutal regimes this world has ever known...

I doubt if I'll ever visit France in my life for those very reasons.

It's one thing to not agree with the actions of an ally and caution against taking such actions and QUITE ANOTHER to actively oppose legitimate actions taken in the interest of enforcing binding UN resolutions.. And it's even worse when your government is able to convince 1/3 of it's population to actively support the defeat of the US by the hand of a guy who rivals Hitler and Stalin in his brutality..

All because Chirac wants to preserve his connections between French oil companies and Saddam's regime (as well as probably covering up financial windfalls he's derived from that relationship).

Yeah.. you bet I'm anti-French..
