yes they are, white house is behaving like panic stricken fools. Even prior to this O'Neill bombshell, the mexican immigrant + "man on the moon" + desperate tech CEO session begging for jobs speaks of desperation to me. The white house staffers are not calling for a Bush landslide anymore. Now they are back to "it will be close". North Carolina is going to get hammered in the jobs area. It will be interesting to see if they stick with Bush. I doubt it.
