What will our President say to the families who have lost soldiers in Iraq...?

I'm still wondering what we're supposed to say to the families of 300,000 dead Iraqi shiites who thought the US would support their efforts to oust Saddam Hussein in 1991..

And I wonder what we're supposed to say to the families of the 3,000 people who lost their lives on 9/11 because the previous administration failed to recognize the threat that Al-Qaeda, and terrorist states, posed to the security of the United States...

And if the families of those soldiers didn't already know, it's pretty likely that their sons and daughters knew what they were laying their lives on the line for...

The only thing worse is to suddenly say that creating positive and constructive change and economic opportunity for moderate forces in the region isn't worth the cost...

Because if we don't, the cost this nation bears in later years will likely be even greater.
