You don't understand the American electorate. Besides Minnesota, dean would not be likely to carry once state between the two coasts. Plus Bush would carry everything south of New Jersey. He would also run hard in California. A strong moderate Dem ticket (two Silver Star winners for instance) would instantly make it a 50-50 rave and scare the hell out of the Bushies. Think what you want, but Bushies are not afraid of Dean. He makes them nervous but that's about it. They know they can Dukakisize him within weeks. In fact, they already largely have which is why Dean only has a 28% approval rating nationally. Bush is at 58%.
