Endless avalanche? Aren't we exaggerating just a bit. Just because you say it doesn't make it true either.

I don't doubt that NASA has made a contribution, but there have also been enormous costs. If proponents of NASA can effectively make the case that their value outweighs those costs then perhaps they can make an effective case for increasing NASA's budget. But, you'll have to forgive me if I insist on seeing the numbers first.

You're obviously a passionate proponent of space exploration and I can respect that, but if you wish the taxpayers to consent to seeing their hard earned taxpaying dollars go to NASA then the burden is upon them to make the case in hard numbers.
