Yes, I would... although I wouldn't put the blame on the Israelis only. I think Americans, especially Southerners from the Bible Belt are as guilty as Israel's Judeofascists.

Israel caters to the racist leanings of millions of Americans and it offers a proxy revenge of sorts to those who still lament the defeat of the Confederacy in 1865... Somehow, Ariel Sharon is a modern General Robert E. Lee (*) --and a victorious one at that-- and Tel Aviv is a modern Richmond... I'm afraid a lot of Deep South dwellers view the whole Mideast conflict as an alternative unfolding of the US Civil War --which doesn't bode well for the future of the US democracy.
