The big problem, imo, is not that Bush believed erroneous information, or even that he repeated the erroneous information, it was that he believed AND repeated it, and embellished it (Iraq was a threat to the US? Ha) in order to take us to war.

Anyone doing all those things would have been as guilty as Bush is. And everyone who believed the intelligence data, that obviously was faulty, has a duty to correct the system. The democrats and the republicans who believed it are, of course, engaging in CYA behaviors- and they are ALL to blame, and should be held accountable. Bush was the prime mover for this stupid war, though, and for that he must be held doubly accountable.
