Good afternoon Stan,
You stated,
<<< Are you pretty much saying that before 70 AD, saints were resurrected in the bodies they died in which were then glorified, and that after that saints receive a different one that is glorified leaving the old one to disintegrate? >>>
This is what I believe the scriptures teach about the resurrection.
Old testament saints looked forward to a resurrection of their bodies at the second coming of Christ which happened around 70 AD.
Prior to this great event happening, these saints were kept in a part of Hades ( Abrahams bosom ), awaiting the resurrection to receive their new bodies.
I do not see any physical evidence to possibly suggest that their physical bodies were brought out of their graves.
The rotting bodies of these saints were not restored, but rather a new body was given them, likened unto the Lord Jesus Christs glorious body.
As I stated earlier, new testament saints upon leaving this body of flesh, immediately receive their new glorified bodies and are with the Lord.
I believe in the resurrection of the body, but not the decomposing one scattered in the ground. God consigns this body of death to return to dust.
Hopefully this helps you see what I believe the scriptures are saying.
Grace and peace to you,
