the asset inflation has started. I buy a fair amount of good wine from here villagecorner.com I love australian shiraz and the price has been going up. for example the 2002 SHIRVINGTON MCLAREN VALE SHIRAZ which just arrived this week goes for $75. Robert Parker, in his review two months ago, said the wine will be going for $65. I have bought several bottles of different 2002's for $40-$50 that were $8-$10 higher than they would have been a year ago. they need to start using australian wines in the CPI calculation. <g>
