Dan, et al,

There wasn't anything in Barron's this past week particularly tied to PMs and I didn't see anything of interest on the Tube. The recent interviews of Sinclair and Adam Smith were interesting. Smith claims we are near a major high in the POG, which almost assures us of a further rise in price.

The GMI/POG ratio:

On 01/08, the Barron's GMI was 705.97 up from the previous week's 70017. With the POG up at 423.35 (01/09) the ratio was down slightly at 1.67.

The ratio a years ago was 1.39.
