But the Niger document was proven faulty. Before the state of the union speech Bush knew this, and his intel advisors knew this--but still he and they used the fake document as a cause for going to war. It sure sounded good in his speech, didn't it? I mean weren't you all warm and fuzzy with fear and all when you heard him deliver that speech? And it especially got good when the US media so often showed the camera on those two weather balloon-filling trucks. I mean didn't it make you feel like Saddam was gonna put a lot of muck on us? That we had to quickly go to war?
