There is common ground shared by Bin Laden and Falwell. Both are extreme in their beliefs due to their own particular interpretation of "what God wants".

They are both so certain they are right, so willing to impose their beliefs on others, I suspect both are extremely delusional. Unfortunately it seems religion is a place that allows the insane to hide and pass themselves off as normal all over the world. Just blame your hatred and craziness on "God".
