Would you buy REAL AMERICAN COWBOYS jeans or some Turkish knock-offs?

Well, given that the stuff I buy very often has "Made in China" or something written in it (including a really nice top I recently bought at Gucci), your question has lost relevance quite a while ago, imho.

By the way, I prefer Guess to "REAL AMERICAN COWBOY" jeans :-)

There is also a law... (I am not sure if this was repealed, I believe not) that if you are a US citizen/resident working/living abroad you (and your spouse, if there is one) get a no tax card for the first $80,000 of income... EACH... that is a cool $160,000 allowance... so in a way, the US treasury is subsidizing --to an extent-- this migration... I wonder how many "compatriotas” -LOL in the US know about this little gem...

I have an American friend who lives in Italy who still benefits from this. And he has been there for 4-5 years now. I don't think it's just the first year.

Jeeesuus H. Krist ! What the hell ? What do they want? To bomb every frigging ant and microbe in sight? They can surgically bomb every living person in his/her own bedroom already... what else do they want??? Under funded, my arse; again, particularly when you are leaving behind the educational system to mindless robots... </I.

Brilliant rant! :-)

Tequila... it is the nastiest tasting beverage I have ever taken...

You must have led a sheltered life -g- Let me introduce you to the dangers of being a young woman:

The worst tasting beverage I have ever tasted was one that posed like a can of coke, in a party about 5-6 years ago. It was a bitter, salty, horrible taste. Kind of like sea water, but a much more stomach-upsetting, horrible taste. If sea water tasted like that, I would never swim in the sea :-)

Needless to say, I took one sip and never touched it again. Made a point of opening my own cans from then onwards.

I researched the subject a little bit, and I am pretty sure that what I tasted was something called GHB, otherwise known as "rape drug" - supposed to cause sensual euphoria in small doses, but a highly probable effect (if you take a bit too much) is a sleep from which it is impossible to wake you.

In fact, another girl at the party threw up for a bit and then passed out. There was no waking her - we shouted at her, shook her, slapped her, etc. She woke up four hours later, and asked what happened.

Next to that, tequila is an innocent, safe little drink :-)
