How widespread was the support of the Kahane in the 1970s? I don't know but they were not a small org.

They where a pretty small group. A lot smaller then the PLO/PLA or Hammas. They where opposed by the Israeli government and never had the kind of support from the Israeli population that the PLO/PLA and Hammas have from Palestinians.

terrorismanswers.com has some info.

And then are there are the settlers who take the law into their own hands

Again not examples of wide spread or large scale terrorism.

and the Israeli's secret police, the Mossad. They too have committed terrorist attacks on their opponents.

If the PLO or Hammas kills Mossad agents or attacks an Israeli army unit that wouldn't be terrorism but guerilla warfare. Similarly if the Mossad assassinates terrorists it isn't an act of terrorism.

You just don't seem to want to get it. We're talking about david and goliath and you want david to play by your rules. It ain't going to happen nor should you be surprised that it won't.

I'm not surprised when people act in evil ways but that doesn't mean I accept the evil as good or as something that should not be complained about.

Who are you to judge?

You don't have to be anyone special to point out evil.

A possible scenario.....you've been captured by terrorists who will torture you for info and then kill you. You have a chance to escape.....you've killed the jailer and gotten out of your cell. Outside the jail, there is an innocent driver with a truck that you need to escape. You have to kill the driver to get the truck. What are you going to do? Go back into your cell and lock the door because its not a legitimate tactic to kill an innocent bystander?

I wouldn't go back in to the cell. I might try to get out on foot or get the truck without killing the truck driver either by knocking him out or by some other means. But even assuming that there is 0% chance of escape if I don't kill a totally innocent truck driver and 100% chance of escape if I do (a very unlikely, in fact close to impossible scenario) I don't think I would kill the driver and if I did intentionally and deliberately kill the driver in cold blood then I would be a murderer.

In any case this scenario is very unlike the scenario that the Palestinians face, none of them will be tortured and killed for not engaging in terrorism (unless other Palestinians are doing the killing).
