Saddam was no more dangerous than any of the other rulers of the Middle East, certainly not to America. The only thing that would be different if he were still in power is that we would not be embroiled in a quagmire in Iraq. Al Qaeda, Israel, Afganistan, the Saudis and the rest would be carrying on pretty much like they are now.
