SAMSys Technologies Partners With PEAK Technologies To Deliver Large-Scale RFID Implementations
SAMSys readers to be a component of PEAK's RFID solution set
TORONTO, Jan. 14 /CNW/ - SAMSys Technologies Inc. (SMY:TSX-VEN)
("SAMSys"), an international provider of radio frequency identification (RFID)
hardware solutions, today announced that it has entered into a value added
reseller (VAR) agreement with PEAK Technologies, an international systems
integrator of automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) equipment
and systems, enterprise mobility solutions, and ongoing support services.
Under the terms of this agreement, PEAK Technologies, a Moore Wallace
company, will sell, install, and service SAMSys' RFID readers as a
complimentary technology to their existing suite of AIDC products and
services, including RFID enabled thermal printers. PEAK is uniquely positioned
to address broad deployment of RFID technology for case and pallet tracking
applications. PEAK's parent company, Moore Wallace, offers unparalleled
expertise in RFID "smart" media technologies and manufactures RFID tags,
allowing PEAK to offer a total solution to customers.
