Can we widen the discussion a bit by starting here? The idea was that the disciple was accepting that a change needed to be made in their life -- one of turning from being motivated by whatever guided them in the past -- to what God desires. This also looked forward to 1) Jesus and 2) Baptism (immersion into?) in the Holy Spirit which Jesus could give Do you agree with this?
