Stopping Hamas is the responsibility of the Palestinian Authority, not of the Israelis. The fact that the PA has done virtually nothing to control Hamas is clear proof tht the PA, whatever its words, doesn't truly want peace. It is still committed to the total destruction of Israel. How can the world reasonably expect Israel to negotiate peace with a party which is committed to its destruction?

The PA knows who the Hamas leaders are. It knows where their money is, where their money comes from, where their weapons are, the source of its explosives, etc. If they truly wanted peace, they could stop Hamas dead in the water. But they don't, because the reality is that they support what Hamas is doing.

Actions here speak much, much louder than words.
