Generally speaking, Chinese do not eat dessert as their last course, at most eat some fruit after meal. And a lot of Chinese start their meals with soup, not western-style creamy soup but clear soup with vegetables, then they tend to eat less<g>

The key to their success is a per capita income of $200 or so per year no doubt. The new China is persuing wealth and with it will come the large butt in a couple of generations.
Ain't progress grand? Ohhh..and an SUV in every driveway.
