So is much of the Likud, and a lot of the members that aren't pander to the ones who are. Sorta like the Reps and the Religious Right in this country. >The whole partitioning of Palestine was never done right in the first place. I think that's why its so messed up now. It couldn't have really been done much differently. It was gonna be contentious, no matter what. The issue was that the U.N. was never willing to stand behind what it created. If the U.N. had sent in troops to the Israeli border in 1948 to prevent a war, we wouldn't have these problems today. There's no imminent solution. Anyone who claims there is is off the mark, IMO. -Z
