High taxes are not part of Christian doctrine or dogma or part of the teachings of Jesus.

Ok...Tench shamed me...I am sorry I called you literal. What am I supposed to do with this statement... High taxes are not part of Christian doctrine or dogma or part of the teachings of Jesus.

What is high? Relative to what? High relative to staggering deficits? How about relative to fiscal drunkeness? Are they high relative to "compassionate conservatism"... compassion for the less fortunate IS part of the teachings of Jesus, aka bush's hero? So the Christian doctrine may not deal with "high taxes"... but it does by projection in terms of what you can do with that money...
