Given our complete blow by regarding Iraq's WMD, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in whatever our intelligence tells us. Another good example of intelligence failure is how our agencies consistently overrated Soviet capabilities prior to the end of the cold war. Our intelligence agencies have put to much emphasis on satellite info at the expense of human intelligence (spys).
