I cannot find the quarterly statements for 2000.

However for Q4 2000,Intel Revenue was at a record high. The margins were also at the high end of historical ranges. So the profit before one time charges should be close to the peak. In 2000 Intel realized about $3.7 billion income from capital gains, and now Intel took a one time write off of approximately $610 million.

Thus my statement that profits, before accounting for one time events, will be close to the peak levels should be valid.
