Remember when you were in high school and read Of Mice and Men? One of the labor organizers said the workers would stay docile...unless and until they saw blood. Blood of their own spilled by the farmers or their goons.

You're on that track with your observance of how important the post 'carrier flight deck' military deaths are. I think those casualties are very distant for most Americans to empathize with, though. I think the people of this country will have to see blood here. Blood of innocents shed at the hands of our own government.

That's only one dot on the counter side, though. This is a big bubble. Maybe the biggest ever. The people will also need something(s) and someone to hope/fight/pray for. Those causes and persons are the additional pricks in the bubble.

Just my opinion as well.
