Nine months after the U.S. Army swept through the Karbala Gap en route to Baghdad, it is still struggling to extricate itself from a self-inflicted credibility gap.

Cheap shot by that reporter.

I cannot imagine how the Army could be more open to the press than they have been in Iraq.

The SAPI plate shortage is about to end. Planning is one thing. Having every single piece of good equipment available to every single soldier everyday is another. It is logistically impossible.

I can't wait to hear the next gripe.
