some folks hold through gut wrenching selloffs

I don't know about liking it, but the above is me. In mid-nov I decided I was going to start tracking the dips. the first PM dip I tracked finished 12/10 down 14.7%. at that point there weren't many buying it. 3 days later I had back 8 points of the 14. It took until 1/5 to get back to the peak of 12/2. as of yesterday the dip was 9.5% in two days, but it left me only down 50 basis points for the yr.

I like russell's suggestion. don't trade 'em. at some point you'll get left behind.
