That poll is a week old. A lifetime in politics.
The pressure against dean has been growing and finally he's about to break. The only reason half the (former) DEan supporters were there was because the media told them Dean is the imminent nominee. Now the entire story changes to "Dean has failed" "Blown the biggest lead in history" "Is not seen as electable" "Gaffes Again" "Has no traction" etc. etc. etc. Kerry, Clark and Edwards are now the stories. In that order. Gephardt can be expected to bow out next Tuesday and he WILL NOT endorse Dean.
