Sometimes I think Joe McCarthy is alive and well on SI - we see this attitude reflected all over:

What's more, in classic fanatical fashion, the inner circle in the Oval
Office displays an utter intolerance of dissent.


Someone even said the other day that it's unpatriotic for a US citizen to live outside the US.

Doesn't get any wackier and clannish than that. May as well get us some animal skins and a club so we can go rustle up some grub.
