Movies you should see- yes you (unless you liked Rambo, in which case please skip this post, and while you're at it, Go Away)- Swimming Pool I give it 4 stars out of 5 reel.com The Cuckoo I give it 5 out of 5 It reminds be of No Man's Land, House of Fools, Beautiful People, and Prisoner of the Mountains-- of the above mentioned movies you've GOT to see No Man's Land- one of the best movies ever made about the ironies of war. GREAT movie reel.com Enlightenment Guaranteed This reminded me of My Dinner with Andre, crossed with something like Lost in Translation, crossed with...I don't know what. One of my favorite movies last year. reel.com The Sea is Watching 4.5 out of 5 Based on a Kurosawa script- a luminous film reel.com Mullet 5 outof 5 I think this movie may be the perfect mockumentary. It's better than the more polished big budget films like Guffman, and Spinal Tap and Best of Show (all of which I love). This movie is something very special, imo. reel.com
