Doubting O'Neil is just partisan politics covering up. Everyone in the know knows the Cheney types wanted Saddam's oil from the beginning, plus that GW was a lightweight in terms of understanding anything thatvwas going on. GW is a good campaigner, fundraiser and frontman but without experts telling him what to think he wouldn't have a clue. It is the machine behind Bush not Bush himself which is such an expert at winning. Study GW's biography and you'll realize that he was hand-picked as a frontman, trained and very little real experience coming into the White House. In Texas the goernor's job is largely ceremonial. Also, the new wisdom is that Bush's last tax cut was a big mistake, and that they are too skewed to the rich. The debt it's creating (plus no jobs) will be weighing us down for decades unless it's cut back.
