And I am being honest in that I don't think it's right, no matter if someone tees off on a QB, WR, OT or DE.
We can all agree Sapp's cheap shot on the GB Lineman on kickoff coverage a year ago was unwarranted, even though it was 'legal'. If I was that lineman, I never would have expected to get cut down like that (and for whatever reason, I just can't think of his name, even though he is starting now..... Clifton ?)
I just have a problem with people that intentionally try to 'set the tone' of the game by knocking a guy out of the game, regardless of if it's someone on 'my' team or not.
I don't want QB's to wear skirts, but it seems like they are the most vulnerable - and aimed for.

What happened in FB when we were kids is irrelevent now, or we wouldn't have the equipment we have, we'd still have the TWO man-in-motions, and several other rules put in to help the defenses (which should be changed back).

I'm all for no face masks, and small shoulder pads.....

Let's just do Australian Rules Football........... LOL
