Yes. I totally agree. I just got back from Nice/France and Monaco. The French Riviera sure is nice. But we have that also here in California (e.g. Santa Barbara, San Diego, etc.). The only difference between the 2 is that there is no Walmart in Nice or Monte Carlo and because of that you see the class and the culture. You go out to the little streets and really enjoy the little mom-and-pop shops, and the livelihood that you can just feel it.

But here all that is gone (or soon to be gone all) thanks to stores like Wallmart. Its truly sad. For a few lousy bucks we are throwing out the culture and the class, not to mention the livelihood of so many mom-and-pop store families.
