AS, The problem is Bush rewards idle wealth and punishes hard work. Gee, I thought it was the Democrats and their income tax addiction. If you are already wealthy, and have no desire to get any wealthier, vote Democrat, if you are of modest means and want to get wealthier, the only way to get there is through income, which Democrats want to take from you through their income taxes. I think the country should seriously look at a consumption tax, to correct these perverse incentives Democrats left us with. A side benefit of consumption tax is that importers, out-sourcers would have to contribute something, they would not get a free ride they currently get. Joe
