I have a reasonable aptitude for maths. I did say the best maths teachers were women in my case. Good maths teachers are thin on the ground as they often confuse even talented students. Maths teachers just cannot relate the concepts to everyday world where the student can understand. If found this particular distressing as an undergraduate.
