Don't you think the expected inflation would be a bit higher than 30% if there was a chance it could possibly be 160%? It is not only in the US that monthly CPI and PPI figures are disclosed, you know.

Going by that paranoid reasoning, you should never buy t-bills, even in the US. So the interest is 5%. How do you know inflation will not be 10%? What will happen to your profits then?
