HONG KONG, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mr. Zhu Xiaojun, director of DF China Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: DFCT - News) in response to several recent rumors about the company's possible restructuring, wishes to clarify that the rumors are untrue and ungrounded.
Mr. Zhu said, ''For shareholders' and potential investors' updates, the company is at present under several legal lawsuits with the Chinese Customs and several suppliers, including some punitive charges. The debts and liabilities amount to HK$19 million and the company is not liquid. In order to pay the over-due debts and other financial liabilities, the company is considering the possibility to issue new shares and dispose of some assets to settle the debts.''
