A thought on gold just occurred to me.
If Euroland starts cutting rates big, POG in euro terms will start looking better and better I would think.
That would give us two contradictory thoughts.
1) rising US$ would be bad for gold
2) lowering interest rates would be good for gold

I will let you ponder that paradox too.
