I didn't think CREE would beat by as much as they did and figured it would hit a ceiling at the price I was shorting at. That was my mistake and I took the loss. I didn't wait til the loss got out of hand. Ron went long and make some money. He was right in going long. I do think a 20% jump in the price is a bit much tho so I may reshort the stock again in hopes of some profit taking(sell on news deal)

TOY: you are correct about the earnings yet for some reason the market disagrees. Suppose the CEO is fired or quits? Is this what the market is betting on as the turn around story? If more think it will decline and short it what about the short squeeze if the stock rises more? I don't plan to hold it if the price falls below 13. I may just take a tiny profit if it pops up. With all the bad news out why hasn't it fallen?
