Miller turns his back on fellow Democrats and stumps for Bush

Thursday, Miller introduced the president at a $2,000-a-plate fund-raiser at the Georgia World Congress Center. That reprised a Monday night performance in the same building for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce during which he lauded Bush and condemned his fellow Democrats.

Miller broke ranks with his party last October when he endorsed Bush for another term as president. Coincidentally, Miller's book, "A National Party No More: Confessions of a Conservative Democrat" was published a month later. In his book, Miller harshly criticizes the Democratic Party and describes how it has ceded moral and political authority to the Republican Party.
